Author : Lisa Pliscou

a great biography of Jane Austen.
her early years from birth until she starts writing.
Lisa Pliscou created a very beautiful portrait of Jane.

I loved the Design if the book, it's gorgeous, the illustrations by Massimo Mongiardo are simple yet amazing.

♥ the first part is about Jane’s childhood from the perspective of a child.

♥ The second part is the annotated version of Young Jane Austen. This section gives some interesting information and facts related to things mentioned in the first part.

♥ The third and last section answers the question, “What was she like?
It gives a little more information about her writings. a timeline, sources, and an index.


Young Jane Austen is beautifully written and it's gorgeous inside and out. Highly recommended!

i wanted to read this book from a long time, and now that i read  it i can confirm why it's considered one of the very best American novels.
it's a masterpiece . i loved it ! and anyone thinking this novel is bad simply did not understand it.

Great book by agatha christie

it took me a few pages to get into the story, but once i did i was totally in love with it , i could't stop reading, i was all the time guessing who's the murderer till the very end ! a very unexpected end !   it was AMAZING !

why on earth did I take so long before reading this book !

woha !! that was a quick read !! . I loved Zane and Jo .
a very nice romance with hot love scenes, strong characters and a sweet ending.

Thoughts

a story told by "Death" itself :
Liesel Meminger is a young German girl who's been fostered with Hans and Rosa Hubermann when her mother left her unable to take care of her , her young brother died and thoughts of a communist father who left them when she was little.
her new parents were kind but rough people. life is not easy, especially for those like Hans Hubermann who have refused to join the Party. Hitler is in power and the times become even more difficult.
Liesel steals books and learns to read & even write , she learns the true meaning of family through her caring new Papa and her friendships with Rudy, the boy next door who idolizes Jesse Owens and MAX a Jewish man whom the Hubermanns hide in their basement ...
and through it all, the narrator : Death, continues separating souls from bodies.

some great moments in the book :

♥ the snowball fight in a basement.
♥ Liesel reading to the neighbors in the basement while it was bombing outside.
♥ when Rosa was holding the accordion and hugging it missing her husband Hans
♥ the Word Shaker
♥ papa's coming back from war.
♥ the gifts Liesel gave to max

the ending though ! the death of Hans , rosa , Rudy especially was so sad ! how he described it all ! ... the saddest thing I've ever read .. i cried like i never did before .. so wonderful, so tragic.

I found The Book Thief quite enchanting. ♥
the story went through my soul.

i really can't describe properly the beauty of this book. It will move you to laughter and tears, often at the same time. It has changed my soul.

I Highly, highly, highly recommend it

The person who wins the contest will gain the ownership of the game and a huge fortune. Wade was determined to win this contest.
for years no one could really get any progress in the game but they were all obsessive to study everything about James Halliday's life for the riddles were all based in the pop culture and old video games he loved so much !

And then Wade figures out and solve the first puzzle.

the whole world heard about it and thousands of competitors join the hunt among them some really dangerous players who are willing to commit murder to win the game ! Wade have to survive ! and to do so he have to face the real world he always escaped.

Lives in danger .. a quest for the greatest prize ... and fears to face.

Ready Player One instantly became one of my favourite books of all time.

The contest to win the OASIS Prize is filled with references to Atari video games, 80s pop culture and some really old amazing movies.

the whole book is a dream to every nerd who is acknowledged of the references listed in the book . and luckily i fall into that category.

I absolutely loved this book so much and I encourage everyone to give it a try ♥

The beginning of A Dance with Dragons focuses on the events that happens on the Wall, and across the Sea. Stannis and his host bring the Wildlings south of the Wall , they take up residence in some of the abandoned castles along the wall. Stannis has plans to retake the North, Jon Snow, who is the new Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, is faced with difficult decisions, as he faces the threat of White Walkers looming in the North.

Bran, who is thought dead marches North in search of the Three Eyed Crow which he sees in his dreams. Accompanied by Meera, Jojen, Hodor and a mysterious rider with cold black hands, the group travel deep in the Lands of Winter, seeking Bran’s fate.

South, Tyrion Lannister lands to Pentos, where he is met by the familiar face of Magister Illyrio. Tyrion is mean to assist Daenerys in her conquest. He leaves Pentos in a matter of days to join up with a secret group that is travelling down the Rhyone. However his journey doesn’t go according to the plan as he begins a new journey to a different destination.

Daenerys, who had settled in the city of Mereen is finding her people to be cruel and disrespectful towards her new laws . she feels obligated to see Mereen to peace.

When Stannis marches for Winterfell with his host, in his way he captures Asha Greyjoy. He continues towards Winterfell though a winter storm stops them in their tracks, days from Winterfell.
